This website was created as a personal learning project designed to bridge the gap between textbook theory and the fast-moving reality of the live markets. Every single week, I will dive into the data and stories to bring you a market report that cuts through the noise so hopefully, I (the writer) and you (the reader) can learn a little something about what’s going on.

About me:

My Name is Romaric Mahe. I’m the analyst, writer, and market enthusiast behind this weekly letter. I currently attend Hamilton College where I’m pursing a BA in Economics. My initial interest into economics and the markets started back in my 8th grade social studies class where we were introduced to the basics of supply and demand, and the stock market through a fun trading simulator. I was fascinated by the idea that macroeconomic and geopolitical events have a direct effect on the price of various products so I’ve decided to continue on my journey in pursuing these interests, starting with this letter.
