This website was created as a personal learning project designed to bridge the gap between textbook theory and the fast-moving reality of the live markets. Every single week, I will dive into the data and stories to bring you a market report that cuts through the noise so hopefully, I (the writer) and you (the reader) can learn a little something about what’s going on.

About me:

My Name is Romaric Mahe and I am the analyst, writer, and market enthusiast behind this weekly letter. I am a sophomore at Hamilton College where I intend to pursue a degree in Economics. My initial interest into economics and the markets started back in my 8th grade social studies class where my class was introduced to the basics of supply and demand, and the stock market through a fun paper money trading simulation. While participating in this challenge, I became fascinated by the idea that macroeconomic and geopolitical events have a direct effect on the price of various assets so in continuation, I’ve decided to pursue these interests more seriously by delivering you a weekly market letter through this platform that I’ve created.
